There are 6 squares and 2 circles. What is the simplest ratio of circles to total shapes?

Add to find the total number of shapes.

6 + 2 = 8

Circles to total amount of shapes -> 2:8

Divide 2 to both sides.

2/2:8/2

1:4

Therefore, the answer is 1:4
