tujuan belanda membangun sekolah stovia, osvia dan ams di indonesia adalah: agar pemerintah kolonial belanda mendapatkan tenaga terdidik yg siap bekerja pada birokrasi dan perusahaan swasta barat.
Sehingga Belanda mendapat keuntungan lebih dengan membuka koloninnya di Indonesia.
